Valve Manifold Panels (VMPs)
Valve Manifold Panels (VMPs) are located either on, or in the immediate vicinity of the process tool. It is here that the gas is controlled to the setpoints required by the process it feeds. VMPs often do not have a controller, but instead feed it outputs and receives inputs from the process tool itself. Common components consist of valves, regulators, mass flow devices, pressure sensors and filtration. CSI calibrates and certifies the panel to exact pressure and flow rate required by the process.

A celebrated site in the far south is ‘The Chasms’ where large fissures have opened up in the coastal cliffs of the Mull Hill Formation’s quartz – arenites. Also included traditionally within the Manx Slates are a group of Silurian age rocks which outcrop along the coast between Niarbyl Point and Peel and which are nowadays referred to as the Niarbyl Formation.
The Niarbyl rocks which were found on the basis of a graptolite discovery, to be of Wenlock age as recently as constitute the sole formation within the Dalby Group.
