Games that require peripherals such as PlayStation®VR or PlayStation®Camera aren’t compatible with Remote Play. I have really fast internet and i still experience input lag with remote play on the same network. I think it's horrible. Can't really play any thing that requires precision and timing. It's only good for turn based rpgs or things like that. I have the same experience. I have a 300 mb connection and still get input lag. So fighting games are out.

Configuring the PS4 for Remote Play
Getting the application up, running and linked to your console is not a complicated task. You should first access the settings on the console and follow the directions once you have navigated to 'Remote Play Connection Settings'. From there, adding a device should be as easy as using a connection code that the console has provided.
Other settings about the quality of games being played can be managed; standard options include the resolution and the frame rate. These can be changed depending on your connection speed. It supports 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p.
All in all, the remote play capabilities of Sony PS consoles has improved a lot from the initial attempts with PS3. This application supports both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Preparing for first-time use
Before performing these procedures, you must do the following:

When logging in to the PS4™ system, select the user that is linked to the same Sony Entertainment Network account as your system. - 2.

When registration is complete, the PS4™ system's screen is displayed on your system.

If you enable remote start on the PS4™ system, you can use remote play to wake the PS4™ system from rest mode. On the PS4™ system's function screen, select (Settings) > [Power Save Settings] > [Set Functions Available in Rest Mode], and then select both [Stay Connected to the Internet] and [Enable Turning On PS4 from Network] to set checkmarks.
